A desire to help people…..

I started my Real Estate career in 2019, on the cusp of our region’s largest Real Estate boom in history. However, this was not the beginning. I first cut my teeth in helping people as an Insurance Agent for the Farm Bureau of Tennessee. For 10 years I worked with people to protect their homes, assets, and families. Through this experience I was able to gain knowledge on negotiating detailed contracts and analyzing the complicated makeup and structure of Real Estate. I was able learn about risks and assessment, and most importantly I learned about people. My move to Real Estate was because I wanted an opportunity to work with people on what would often be one of the most important days of their life, finding home.

“Common sense, hard work ethic, and grit isn’t something you learn overnight.”

Story of a Tennessee Farm Girl…

Life lessons learned on the farm with an older brother, and a red barn full of every farm animal you can imagine only began to tailor my life story. I had the privilege of growing up on a multi generational family farm 10 minutes north of Cookeville in Putnam County. I learned the value of a team competing to win while playing basketball in high school for the Cavaliers, and when it was time to get a higher formal education, I attended Tennessee Technological University. I would graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science, though my career would lead me on another path. I worked through school spending my days working with Averitt Express, a national powerhouse trucking company whose driving force is people. My path would change when I had the opportunity to start working for Farm Bureau of Tennessee, allowing me to become a licensed insurance agent for 10 years in the O.C. (around here that’s Livingston, Overton County, TN). I would spend a decade in this business building relationships any pursuing my goals.

One of my life passions has been the privilege to be around horses. From growing up riding around the Big South Fork to competing on the local rodeo circuit. Supporting farm life goes back to my roots. I continue today to take my horses to the County Fair, compete in Southeast Arenas, and from time to time find myself enjoying the winding trail on horseback.
